This past week, The D&O Diary was on assignment in Chicago to attend the 2024 PLUS Conference. Hard to believe, but this year’s version was the 37th installment in the annual series. It was as well-attended and well-organized as always. The event was held at the Sheraton Grand Hotel Riverwalk, right on the Chicago River. Chicago is one of my favorite places to visit and it was great to be back again. It was also great to see so many old friends and to make some new friends as well, as reflected in the pictures below. As reflected in my recent post, last week I attended the PLUS D&O Symposium in New York. Nighttime in Times Square

This week I was in New York for the 2024 PLUS D&O Symposium, along with a thousand or so professionals from around the D&O insurance community. PLUS staged the conference at the Marriott Marquis hotel in Times Square, the bright, beating heart of NYC. No matter how many times you may visit, there is still something special about being in New York. The D&O Diary’s tour through the Asia Pacific region continued this week with a stop in the island city-state of Singapore, which is a bustling metropolis and a burgeoning insurance center. The Marriott Marquis San Diego

It was my pleasure last week to attend the annual PLUS Conference, this year held in San Diego. It was great to be back at a live PLUS event again and to see so many colleagues from around the industry. As always, the PLUS staff did an amazing job organizing the event, and the turnout was great as well. It was also great to be back in San Diego. It was a little bit cool and it rained on Tuesday but despite that San Diego was still beautiful. It was great to see many old friends and to make new friends as well.

Sunshine in Times Square

This past week I was at the annual Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS) D&O Symposium at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Times Square, New York. The weather on the Tuesday arrival day was unusually clement for early February in New York, and even though rain moved in on Wednesday evening, the good vibe on arrival day seemed to carry through the conference.
